Alright, so I board the 106 bus to school few days back. The first thing that actually makes me feel quite nice about it, was that this bus driver would actually smile at the passengers as they board the bus. As you know peoples taking the public transport in the morning are like some negatively charged ion, super moody and unhappy looking. (Same goes for me) So to me, that smile was like heating up these negatively charged ion, giving its energy. In short, the smile meant a lot to me and it actually lightens my mood. I even contemplated whether I should to smile back and pass some happiness to him ^^
In additional, the morning bus is pack like !@#$%. Seriously, you have to fight your way into it de! I believe you all have your own fair bit of those unfortunate incidents when the bus driver would slam the door shut before you can board it, or even driving pass the bus stop without stopping. It is really frustrating, seeing that you are already late to begin with. So this driver is like damn good (and flexible) lah. He was like shouting out to the passengers to tap their card at the front and aboard through the back door (Y)
I know there are some other drivers that allow this too. I think it is damn kind of them seriously! It’s like when you are in trouble (damn bloody late), and someone show a little bit of kindness, regardless now minor it is, you will feel really grateful for it. To me, that is what kindness is all about. Making a difference in someone’s life (day). Even if the kindness is not shown to me, I will still feel very happy about it.
Same goes, if I see a person giving up his seat to another person or maybe donating a few coins to someone else J
Btw, the driver was from prc. So I believe not all prc are the way some of you will make them up to be..
